The Saintélyon brings together several hundred professional and amateur runners each year through a trail that takes place largely at night, between the cities of St-Etienne and Lyon. It takes place both in teams and individually, and allows each participant to give the best of themselves.
The Saintélyon, a historic trail
Created in the 1950s, this trail, which once brought together hiking enthusiasts, has evolved over the years to become the unmissable meeting place for runners. Since the 1970s, when the first races took place, the Saintélyon has evolved, since we notice an increase in the number of kilometers to be covered over time, both on asphalt and on footpaths. This trail is above all praised for its progress which is done mainly at night, and which requires athletes to push their limits despite the darkness. This year more than ever before, many runners are looking forward to this race due to its cancellation the previous year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Altore Team at the rendezvous
Of course the Altore team will be there with the notable presence of our trail running world champion, Sylvain Court. The Saintélyon will once again be an opportunity for Team Altore to demonstrate its presence in a large part of the trail races that took place in 2021, highlighting both the perseverance and the motivation of our runners. The 3-runner relay will be the target of our athletes, eager to compete in the event.
A double stand in the color of the Altore brand
A double stand will be set up in the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon during the trail fair, which will take place during the competition, on Friday November 26 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday November 27, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Do not miss all of our products and our universe which can be found in the Altore stand.
